1. Who we are

Vest (“Vest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the cashback platform at getvest.ai. You can reach us at hello@getvest.ai.

2. Information we collect

Account information: When you join the waitlist or create an account, we collect your name, email address, role, and estimated monthly AI tool spend.

AI tool selections: The tools you indicate you subscribe to, used to personalize your cashback dashboard.

Transaction data: Subscription spend tracked via affiliate links to calculate and verify cashback amounts.

Usage data: Standard web analytics — page views, referral source, browser/device type. We do not use invasive fingerprinting.

3. How we use your information

• To operate the Vest cashback platform and calculate your earnings
• To send transactional emails (waitlist confirmation, cashback credits, payout notifications)
• To improve our tool catalog and cashback rates
• To detect and prevent fraud, multi-account abuse, and policy violations
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Affiliate tracking

Vest earns revenue through affiliate programs. When you click a tracked link to an AI tool, a cookie or postback pixel is set by the affiliate network (PartnerStack, Impact, Awin, ShareASale, or Rewardful). This tracking is how we verify your subscription and calculate your cashback. The affiliate network acts as a data processor under our direction. We disclose this on every offer page, in compliance with FTC guidelines.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with:

• Affiliate networks (PartnerStack, Impact, Awin, ShareASale, Rewardful) — to track and verify subscriptions
• Tremendous — our licensed payout processor, for cashback withdrawals
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Legal authorities — where required by law or valid legal process

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, plus 7 years thereafter for tax and financial record-keeping purposes. Waitlist data for users who never activate an account is deleted after 24 months. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies (session management) and affiliate tracking cookies (to attribute subscriptions). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels for ad retargeting. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent cashback attribution.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@getvest.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

9. EU/UK residents (GDPR)

Our lawful basis for processing your data is contract performance (operating the cashback service) and legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement). For EU/UK users, we enter into Data Processing Agreements with each affiliate network before processing EU personal data. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

10. Children

Vest is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Vest evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
